​With a Ph.D. from University of Chicago, a B.A. from Harvard University in Psychology and Social Relations, and a national certification in empowerment-based self-defense (third-degree Black Belt), my experiences span education, research, facilitation, and lived experience.
My career has included roles as a TEDx Speaker, educator, lecturer in sociology & gender studies, researcher, consultant, and empowerment instructor. These layers of context equip me to bridge theory with practice, evidence with lived reality, and challenge with change.
